July 31, 2017, PCi Tec announced that it has commenced operations for its secure, climate controlled Integration, Testing and Deployment Center. The facility will also function as a design lab and specialize in developing processes and technologies for IT integration, data center optimization, and cybersecurity. The Center, equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software, will be used specifically for product design and configuration, software & hardware testing, cyber vulnerability and penetration testing, integration, staging, system imaging, asset tagging, and research & development.
The facility is strategically located at the PCi Tec HUBZone location in Luray, Virginia, outside the 50-mile fallout zone in downtown Washington, D.C. In addition, the Center and Design Lab will be monitored 24x7 by skilled technicians and will be insured and protected from theft, power failure, and inclement weather.
PCi Tec President, Rosina Kling, noted that the company’s Center and Design Lab will be aligned to best commercial practices and government security requirements. She said, “we are really excited that we will be able to provide a wide range of affordable high-end services to our partners and clients. Also, because we are a HUBZone company, our Center and Design Lab will be able to employ workers from economically disadvantaged areas and help the local economy.”
