PCi Tec is looking to add to our IT/cybersecurity sales team! We are looking for experienced Account Managers to handle Department of Energy and other civilian federal agency accounts. 

Job description

This position is responsible for driving strategic IT/cybersecurity/service solutions and sales into the Department of Energy and other civilian agencies. Successful candidates need to have a history of successful customer relationships.



  • Understand the landscape of core assigned agencies.

  • Position PCi Tec as a strategic advantage to our clients’ long-term needs by understanding clients’ IT environment, buying habits, pain points and initiatives.

  • Understand and sell PCi Tec’s core lines of business (IT, cybersecurity, managed services, and professional services).

  • Coordinate client and partner meetings.

  • Discover and establish sales opportunities using a proactive consultative sales approach.

  • Understand and educate clients on the company's HUBZone, woman-owned, small business status.

  • Work closely with the National Account Manager (NAM) to develop a strategic sales strategy for account set.

  • Conduct outbound calling to potential and established clients daily.

  • Establish and expand relationships with key executives, decision makers and procurement officials within assigned accounts.

  • Build and manage your own book of business through the full sales cycle, from initial contact to close.

  • Build and maintain the CRM Customer Database (Sales Force).

  • Demonstrate the ability to close sales and address client issues.

  • Accomplish partner training and obtain sales certifications as appropriate.

  • Create and manage a forecast and pipeline, in consultation with the NAM, to ensure sales reports are current and efficient.

  • Implement a sales strategy to promote PCi Tec selling capabilities and accurately forecast new business.

  • Manage sales-related details required to ensure timely implementation of products and services.

  • Make presentations to prospective clients.
